About Clutch Cannabis

Clutch Cannabis has been serving Skyway, South Seattle and Renton from Rainier Avenue South since 2013, which makes it one of the longest-running shops in this corner of the region. It sits within about a tenth of a mile of Cloud Cannabis and Ounce King, and regulars who have moved away say they still make the drive back.

Clutch positions itself as a premium shop: the latest boutique strains, a wide range of terpene-rich concentrates, edibles and CBD. Concentrate buyers notice that it keeps extracts refrigerated and stored upright — a detail that protects terpenes and texture. A loyalty program rewards regulars, and two daily happy hours, from 8 to 10 a.m. (8:30 on Mondays) and from 10 p.m. to close, help offset prices that reviewers describe as a little higher than budget shops.

Clutch is open from 8 a.m. until 11:45 p.m. every day, later than most Seattle-area shops, holds a medical endorsement, and has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking lot.

What Customers Say About Clutch Cannabis

4.7 out of 5 from 621 Google reviews · read the reviews on Google

Clutch averages 4.7 stars from more than 600 Google reviews. Long-time customers praise fast, laid-back, knowledgeable staff who pull out several options as soon as you describe what you like, a consistently strong top-shelf selection, a clean shop and good music. Small kindnesses come up too — one regular describes staff covering a couple of dollars from the tip jar when they came up short.

The main recent complaint is stock: in 2025 a few loyal customers reported that favorite vape and cartridge brands were frequently sold out. Older reviews note that concentrates can run a few dollars more per gram than elsewhere, offset by quality and the loyalty discount.
