Medical, Delivery and Tribal Dispensaries Explained
Medical
Neither state has separate medical dispensaries any more. In Washington, the Department of Health endorses certain licensed stores to serve registered patients, who then pay less tax and can buy more. In Oregon, most stores are registered to serve Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP) cardholders, who pay no cannabis tax. Look for the Medical badge; 1,014 stores in our directory have it.
Delivery
Only Oregon allows cannabis delivery, and only from stores with an OLCC home-delivery endorsement. 599 Oregon stores carry the Delivery badge. Washington does not allow cannabis delivery at all.
Tribal stores
Several tribal nations in Washington run cannabis stores on their land under compacts with the state. They follow the same age and purchase rules as state-licensed stores but are not on the state retail list, so many directories miss them. We list 21 verified tribal stores, each marked Tribal-owned.
How to Choose a Dispensary
With so many stores to choose from, a few checks make a big difference. Make sure the store is licensed (every store here is, and shows its licence number). Check opening hours before you go, especially early in the morning or late at night. Compare daily deals and first-time discounts, look at whether the store is medically endorsed if you are a patient, and in Oregon, check for a Delivery badge if you would rather order from home. One rule is the same in both states: you cannot carry cannabis between them. The Columbia River is a state line, and crossing it with cannabis is a federal crime, in either direction.

Every Oregon listing comes from the OLCC's list of active recreational retailers, including medical and delivery endorsements.
