Dispensaries in Georgia

Georgia has 21 licensed medical cannabis dispensaries in 14 cities, each holding a dispensing license from the Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission. Georgia has no recreational sales. To buy, you need a Medical Cannabis card from the Georgia Department of Public Health, and only a Georgia physician's certification can get you one. A registered patient may possess products with up to 12,000 mg of THC in total, and no single package may hold more than 1,200 mg.

Below is every store in our Georgia directory, grouped by area, with the names behind them and the rules that apply at the counter. Each listing opens to a map, the store's state dispensing license number and, where we have them, contact details. If you do not have a card yet, start with our guide to Georgia marijuana laws. For other states, see our national dispensary directory.

Georgia Dispensaries at a Glance

Georgia's program started small. For years the state allowed only "low THC oil," and patients joined the Low THC Oil Registry. A 2026 law, Senate Bill 220, renamed the product "medical cannabis," replaced the old 5% THC cap with a total-milligram limit and added new product types from July 1, 2026. The Department of Public Health now calls its list the Medical Cannabis Patient Registry.

Our directory lists 21 stores in 14 cities and 12 counties. Metro Atlanta holds 12 of them. The rest sit in or near Augusta, Savannah, Macon, Athens and Columbus. The area names below are our own short labels, grouped by county.

Georgia Dispensaries by Area

Atlanta, Decatur, Dunwoody and Duluth (7 stores)

Atlanta has 4 stores: Botanical Sciences Atlanta, Botanical Sciences Chamblee, True Bliss Atlanta and True Bliss Buckhead. Botanical Sciences Atlanta is on Howell Mill Road. The two True Bliss stores are both on Peachtree. True Bliss Atlanta is at 66 Peachtree Street NW, and True Bliss Buckhead, which the Commission labels by neighborhood, is at 1831 Peachtree Road NE. The Commission's map labels the fourth store "Botanical Sciences Chamblee," but its Buford Highway NE address carries an Atlanta mailing address, so we list it under Atlanta. That store sits in DeKalb County. Also in DeKalb, Decatur has Fine Fettle Decatur on Lawrenceville Highway, and Dunwoody has Trulieve Dunwoody on North Shallowford Road. That gives Fulton County 3 stores and DeKalb County 3. Northeast in Gwinnett County, Duluth has True Bliss Duluth, on Sugarloaf Parkway.

Marietta and Smyrna (3 stores)

Every store in this group is in Cobb County. Marietta has 2: Botanical Sciences Marietta and Trulieve Marietta. The Trulieve store is on Cobb Parkway North, and the Botanical Sciences store is on Windy Hill Road. Smyrna has Fine Fettle Smyrna, on Paces Ferry Road SE.

South of Atlanta: Stockbridge and Newnan (2 stores)

Stockbridge has Botanical Sciences Stockbridge, on Rock Quarry Road in Henry County. To the southwest, Newnan has Trulieve Newnan, on Highway 34 East in Coweta County.

Augusta Area: Evans (2 stores)

Evans, in Columbia County, has 2 stores: Fine Fettle Evans and Trulieve Evans. Trulieve Evans is on Washington Road, and Fine Fettle Evans is on Towne Centre. Augusta sits on the South Carolina line, and South Carolina has its own rules, explained in our South Carolina marijuana law guide. Cannabis bought in Georgia cannot legally cross the state line.

Savannah Area: Pooler (2 stores)

Pooler, in Chatham County west of Savannah, has 2 stores: Botanical Sciences Pooler and Trulieve Pooler. Trulieve Pooler is on Pooler Parkway, and Botanical Sciences Pooler is on Zoya Lane. Florida is a short drive south. Florida has a medical program of its own, and our Florida dispensary directory lists its stores. Keep in mind that bringing cannabis from another state into Georgia can count as possession under Georgia law.

Middle Georgia: Macon and Milledgeville (3 stores)

Macon has 2 stores: Fine Fettle Macon and Trulieve Macon. Both are on Riverside Drive in Bibb County. To the east, Milledgeville has Treevana Milledgeville, on Heritage Place in Baldwin County. Treevana is the only name in our Georgia directory with a single store.

Athens and Columbus (2 stores)

Athens has Fine Fettle Athens, on Atlanta Highway in Clarke County. On the other side of the state, Columbus has Trulieve Columbus, on Armour Road in Muscogee County. Columbus sits on the Alabama line. Alabama has different rules, covered in our Alabama marijuana law guide.

Names on the Sign

Our 21 Georgia stores trade under five names. Trulieve is the most common, with seven stores, one in each of our seven areas, from Pooler to Columbus. Botanical Sciences and Fine Fettle have five each. True Bliss has three, two in Atlanta and one in Duluth. Treevana has one.

The company on the license often differs from the name on the door. The Commission's map shows each Botanical Sciences store run by a numbered company such as "Georgia Dispensary 1, LLC," the Fine Fettle stores by companies named "FFD GA" plus the city, and the True Bliss stores by companies named "TT GA Retail." We use the Commission's map labels, which pair the brand with a city or, for True Bliss Buckhead, a neighborhood.

What the License Number Means

Each Georgia listing shows a dispensing license number in the form DISP0001. The Commission prints it on its official dispensary map, and you can check a license's status on the Commission's dispensary page. In our directory, the numbers run from DISP0001 to DISP0024. DISP0010, DISP0016 and DISP0023 do not appear on the map or in our list. The map shows a store only after it begins operations, so a missing number does not mean a license was lost.

Licensed dispensaries are not the only place to buy. According to the Commission's FAQ, registered patients may also buy at an independent pharmacy licensed by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy. Our directory does not list those pharmacies. The Commission's dispensary page links to the Board of Pharmacy search.

Who Can Buy at a Georgia Dispensary

  • Registered patients: You need an active Medical Cannabis card from the Georgia Department of Public Health. An adult patient must be at least 18, be a Georgia resident and have one of the 18 qualifying conditions in state law. The department's page lists them.
  • Caregivers: A parent, guardian or legal custodian of a patient under 18 can register. So can an adult the patient designates to help buy, possess and administer the products. Each caregiver needs a card of their own.
  • Getting a card: A Georgia physician certifies your condition and uploads your file to the registry. The department checks it, then emails you a payment link. Under its patient and caregiver FAQ, the card costs $30, plus a $3.75 fee for paying online. The department says to allow up to 10 business days after payment for the card to arrive by UPS. A card is valid for five years.
  • Visiting patients: Georgia may honor a card from another state that allows the same possession, but only while you have been in Georgia for less than 45 days. The Commission says there is no reciprocity, and only registered patients may buy, so a visitor without a Georgia card should not expect to buy here.
  • No adult-use sales: Recreational marijuana is illegal in Georgia. Every store in our directory sells only to registered patients and caregivers.

At the Counter: Products and Limits

SB 220 widened what Georgia stores can sell. From July 1, 2026, the Commission says licensed producers may make oils, tinctures, transdermal patches, lotions, capsules, ingestibles and vaporizer products. Vaporizer products include medical cannabis flower for vaporization as well as concentrate devices. Candies and cookies may not be made, and smoking any cannabis product is still prohibited.

The 12,000 mg limit counts everything you hold at once, not only what you buy in one visit. If you hold more, the regular drug laws apply. This page is general information, not medical or legal advice.

Using Medical Cannabis Legally in Georgia

  • Keep it in the container: Lawful possession needs all three pieces: the amount under the limit, your registry card and the labeled pharmaceutical container.
  • No vaping in public: Using a vaping device with medical cannabis in any public place is unlawful.
  • No home grow: Patients may not grow cannabis. Only businesses licensed by the Commission may grow it, to make approved products.
  • Without a card: Possessing 1 ounce or less of marijuana is a misdemeanor, punishable by up to 12 months in jail, a fine of up to $1,000 or both. More than 1 ounce is a felony carrying 1 to 10 years in prison.
  • Driving: Georgia's DUI law, O.C.G.A. 40-6-391, covers driving under the influence of drugs. Do not drive after using.
  • Federal rules and travel: Federal rescheduling of state-licensed medical cannabis took effect April 22, 2026, but the Commission says you still need a registry card to buy in Georgia. Federal land in Georgia, including military bases, follows federal law, and carrying cannabis across a state line is a federal crime. See our federal marijuana law guide. If you are headed north, read our Tennessee and North Carolina law guides first.
  • Hemp shops are different: The Georgia Department of Agriculture regulates hemp products, which may be sold only to adults 21 and older. A hemp shop is not a licensed dispensary.

Before You Visit a Georgia Dispensary

  • Bring your card: Only registered patients and caregivers can buy, so have your Medical Cannabis card with you, on paper or on your phone.
  • Call first: Most cities in our directory have one store. Call to confirm hours and stock before a long drive.
  • Know your total: Add up the THC in everything you already hold before you buy more, so you stay under 12,000 mg.
  • Check the map for new stores: Georgia's market is still growing, and the Commission adds a store to its map once it opens.

How we build this directory: Store names, addresses and dispensing license numbers come from the Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission's official dispensary map, which we last read on November 2, 2026. The map shows only stores that have begun operations, and we use its labels as store names. We match each store to map data for its county and contact details, and we recheck the Commission's map and add stores as they open. For the rules in every state, see our state-by-state cannabis law guides.
