Orlando has 43 dispensaries licensed by the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU), more than any other city in the state. Every one is a medical store: you can buy only with an active Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry ID card, or as a patient's registered caregiver, and there is no adult-use counter for anyone else. That rules out most of the millions of people who come here for the theme parks, because Florida accepts no out-of-state medical cards.
Orlando's market is big because the companies compete hard for the same patients. The 43 stores belong to 20 different medical marijuana treatment centers, from Trulieve with six locations to single shops run by Eden Florida, Goldflower Cannabis and The Flowery. Many of them sit within sight of each other on Colonial Drive and Orange Blossom Trail, so comparing menus here means driving a few blocks, not across town.
All 43 Licensed Dispensaries in Orlando, FL
Two roads carry most of the city's stores. Colonial Drive (State Road 50) has nine, from Sunnyside and Trulieve on the west side to a run of seven stretching east from near downtown toward the University of Central Florida. Orange Blossom Trail has seven, two north of downtown and five heading south past Sand Lake Road. The rest gather around Lee Road, Semoran Boulevard, International Drive and University Boulevard. Addresses follow mailing names, so a few "Orlando" stores sit in unincorporated Orange County.
Downtown, SoDo and College Park: MÜV on S Garland Avenue is the only store in the downtown core. South on Orange Avenue you will find Surterra Wellness and Eden Florida, and to the north Fluent on N Orange Avenue and GrowHealthy on Edgewater Drive. East Colonial: Surterra Wellness, Goldflower Cannabis, Insa, Fluent, Mint Cannabis, MÜV and Trulieve. Near UCF: Curaleaf, Jungle Boys and Sunburn share University Boulevard, and Ayr on N Alafaya Trail is just north.
Semoran and the airport side: Curaleaf and Planet 13 on N Semoran, Trulieve on S Semoran, Sanctuary Cannabis on Lee Vista Boulevard and Ayr on Landstar Boulevard. Lee Road and North Orange Blossom Trail: Cookies Florida, Green Dragon and Insa on Lee Road, plus Ayr and Trulieve on N Orange Blossom Trail. West Colonial: Sunnyside, Trulieve and RISE Dispensary on Good Homes Road.
International Drive and Turkey Lake Road: Sanctuary Cannabis and Curaleaf on I-Drive, Ayr and GrowHealthy on Turkey Lake Road, and MÜV on Vineland Parkway. South Orange Blossom Trail and Sand Lake: Fluent on W Sand Lake Road, Planet 13 on Southland Boulevard, The Flowery, Trulieve, Cookies Florida, Ayr, Curaleaf, Sunnyside on Town Center Boulevard and Trulieve on Conroy Road.

Visiting a Dispensary in Orlando: Card, ID, Payment and Hours
- What to bring: Your Florida registry ID card and a photo ID. The store checks the state registry before every sale, and what you buy has to match the amounts and forms your doctor entered. New patients can use the OMMU approval email while the plastic card is in the mail.
- Payment: Most stores take cash and debit. Each company sets its own policy, so check before you go.
- Hours: Section 381.986 bars dispensing in a store between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., so no Orlando dispensary can be open late at night. Most open at 9 or 10 a.m. and close between 8 and 9 p.m.
- Delivery: Treatment centers may deliver to registered patients at any hour. Coverage and fees vary by company.
Orlando and Florida Cannabis Laws: Purchase Limits, Public Use and Driving
A store may sell you no more than a 70-day supply in any 70 days, and no more than 2.5 ounces of smokable flower per 35 days unless the OMMU approves an exception. You may hold up to a 70-day supply, or 4 ounces of flower, in its original packaging. Medical use is not allowed in any public place, in a car, or on a boat, and using marijuana in public view is a first-degree misdemeanor. Driving while your normal faculties are impaired is DUI, card or not. Home growing is illegal for everyone. Our Florida marijuana law guide has the full rules.
- Theme parks: Walt Disney World has banned marijuana from its property since 2017, medical marijuana included, citing federal law. Check any park's current rules before you pack.
- Orlando International Airport: In 2017 the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority voted to ban medical marijuana at the airport. Look up the authority's current policy before flying with any.
- Hotels and rentals: Owners may ban smoking or vaping marijuana on their property, so read the house rules.
Cannabis Taxes in Orlando
No sales tax shows up on an Orlando dispensary receipt. Under section 212.08 of the Florida Statutes, medical marijuana and the devices used to take it are exempt from sales and use tax, and we found no separate city cannabis tax. Prices still differ a lot between companies. Each must post the cost of a 30, 50 and 70-day supply on its website, which makes comparison easier; see our 2026 cannabis prices by state.
