Arkansas has 36 medical marijuana dispensaries in 28 cities and towns, all licensed by the state's Medical Marijuana Commission. Arkansas is a medical-only state. Only patients with an Arkansas medical marijuana registry ID card can buy, along with their registered caregivers and visiting patients who have registered with the Arkansas Department of Health. A patient may buy up to 2.5 ounces of usable marijuana in any 14-day period.
Below is every store in our directory, grouped by the eight licensing zones the commission uses, with the rules that apply at the counter. Each listing opens to a map, the store's state license number and, where we have them, contact details. If you do not have a card yet, start with our guide to Arkansas marijuana laws. For other states, see our national dispensary directory.
Arkansas Dispensaries at a Glance
Arkansas keeps its dispensary market small and evenly spread. The Arkansas Department of Health's report for fiscal year 2025, which ran from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, counted 37 licensed dispensaries and 36 in operation. Our directory lists 36. The commission sorts dispensary licenses into eight zones, and its May 2025 renewal agenda lists the licenses zone by zone. Most zones hold five stores. Zones 6 and 8 have fewer.
| Zone | Area | Licensed (2025 agenda) | In our directory | Cities and towns |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zone 1 | Northwest Arkansas | 5 | 5 | Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville, Eureka Springs |
| Zone 2 | The Ozarks and North Central Arkansas | 5 | 5 | Mountain Home, Mountain View, Clinton, Heber Springs, Hardy |
| Zone 3 | Northeast Arkansas and the Delta | 5 | 5 | West Memphis, Jonesboro |
| Zone 4 | Fort Smith and the Arkansas River Valley | 5 | 5 | Fort Smith, Van Buren, Clarksville, Russellville, Morrilton |
| Zone 5 | Little Rock and Conway | 5 | 5 | Little Rock, Sherwood, Conway |
| Zone 6 | Hot Springs and Saline County | 3 | 3 | Hot Springs, Hensley, Alexander |
| Zone 7 | Pine Bluff and Southeast Arkansas | 5 | 5 | Pine Bluff, Helena, Monticello |
| Zone 8 | Southwest Arkansas | 4 | 3 | Texarkana, El Dorado, Arkadelphia |
Little Rock, West Memphis and Pine Bluff have the most stores, with 3 each. Fayetteville and Jonesboro have 2 each, and the other 23 places have one store apiece. That makes Arkansas very different from its neighbor Oklahoma, where a single county can have more stores than this whole state. Here a patient in a smaller town may have one choice nearby, so it pays to check hours before you drive.

Arkansas Dispensaries by Zone
The zone names below are our own short descriptions. The zone numbers and the stores in each zone come from the commission's renewal agenda.
Zone 1: Northwest Arkansas (5 stores)
Fayetteville has 2 stores: Purspirit Cannabis and The Hill Fayetteville. Rogers has The Source, which the commission's 2020 location list placed in Bentonville. Current map data shows it on West Poplar Street in Rogers. Bentonville still has The Releaf Center, on East McNelly Road. In Carroll County, Eureka Springs has Osage Creek Dispensary. Missouri lies just north of this corner of the state. Missouri allows adult-use sales, but our Missouri dispensary directory comes with a warning: a legal Missouri purchase becomes illegal possession once it crosses into Arkansas.
Zone 2: The Ozarks and North Central Arkansas (5 stores)
This zone has no city with more than one store. Each of five small towns has one: Mountain Home (Plant Family Therapeutics), Mountain View (Fiddler's Green), Clinton (Arkansas Natural Products), Heber Springs (BOLD Dispensary) and Hardy (Spring River Dispensary). The stores are far apart, so check hours before a long drive.
Zone 3: Northeast Arkansas and the Delta (5 stores)
West Memphis, just across the Mississippi River from Memphis, has 3 stores: Comprehensive Care Group, Delta Cannabis and Elevate Dispensary West Memphis. Jonesboro has 2, Crop and The Vault at Hilltop. The Vault at Hilltop was listed in Brookland on the commission's 2020 list, and map data now puts it on Visions Avenue in Jonesboro. Tennessee has its own rules, covered in our Tennessee marijuana law guide. Cannabis bought in Arkansas cannot legally cross the river.
Zone 4: Fort Smith and the Arkansas River Valley (5 stores)
Every town in this zone has one store. Fort Smith has The Greenery, and Van Buren, across the river, has Good Day Farm Van Buren. Farther east along Interstate 40 are Clarksville (Enlightened Clarksville), Russellville (420 Dispensary) and Morrilton (Enlightened Morrilton). Fort Smith sits on the Oklahoma line. Oklahoma lets Arkansas cardholders apply for a 30-day temporary patient license for $100 plus a $4.30 processing fee, according to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority. See our Oklahoma dispensary directory for stores there, and remember that nothing bought in Oklahoma can come back.
Zone 5: Little Rock and Conway (5 stores)
Little Rock has 3 stores: CODES Little Rock, Good Day Farm Little Rock Cantrell and Good Day Farm Little Rock Chenal. Across the river in Sherwood is Natural Relief Dispensary, which makes 4 stores in Pulaski County, the most of any county in the state. North on Interstate 40, Conway has Harvest Conway.
Zone 6: Hot Springs and Saline County (3 stores)
The commission's agenda lists only three licenses in this zone. Hot Springs has Suite 443, on Malvern Avenue. In Saline County, Hensley has Good Day Farm Hensley and Alexander has Custom Cannabis. Hot Springs National Park is federal land, where an Arkansas card gives no protection.
Zone 7: Pine Bluff and Southeast Arkansas (5 stores)
Pine Bluff has 3 stores: Dark Horse Cannabis Dispensary, High Bank and The Treatment Cannabis Dispensary. On the Mississippi River, Helena has Speakeasy Dispensary Helena. Monticello has Good Day Farm Monticello, which the 2020 list placed in Warren. Mississippi, across the river from Helena, is also medical-only; our Mississippi dispensary directory covers the stores there.
Zone 8: Southwest Arkansas (3 stores)
The agenda lists four licenses here, but one Texarkana store has closed and is not in our directory. Texarkana has Good Day Farm Texarkana, El Dorado has Zen Leaf El Dorado and Arkadelphia has The Grass Station. Texarkana sits on the Texas line and El Dorado is close to Louisiana. Both states have different rules, explained in our Texas and Louisiana law guides.
Names on the Sign
Our 36 Arkansas stores trade under 30 names. Good Day Farm is the most common, with six stores in five zones, from Van Buren to Texarkana and two in Little Rock. Enlightened has two, in Morrilton and Clarksville. Every other name appears on one store only. Some stores have changed names since they were first licensed, so the sign may not match an older list.
Who Can Buy at an Arkansas Dispensary
- Registered patients: You need an Arkansas medical marijuana registry ID card from the Arkansas Department of Health. The department reported 119,490 active cards as of October 31, 2026.
- Getting a card: A physician must certify that you have a qualifying condition under Amendment 98. You then apply online and pay a $50 nonrefundable fee. Renewals also cost $50. Our medical marijuana card guide explains the process in general terms.
- Caregivers: A designated caregiver pays $50, and a $40 criminal background check fee took effect October 1, 2026.
- Visiting patients: An out-of-state card alone is not enough. Visiting patients must apply online for a 90-day Arkansas visiting patient card, which costs $50, and their condition must qualify under Arkansas law.
- No adult-use sales: Voters rejected adult-use legalization in 2022, and recreational marijuana remains illegal.
At the Counter: Limits, Checks and Taxes
Before every sale, a dispensary agent must verify your identity and your registry card, confirm with the Department of Health that you are authorized and enter the sale in the state's inventory tracking system, under Rule 17.1 of the Alcoholic Beverage Control rules for dispensaries.
| At the counter | The rule | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase limit | Up to 2.5 oz of usable marijuana in any 14-day period | Amendment 98; ABC Rule 17.1 |
| Visiting patients | Must show an out-of-state card and Department of Health registration | ABC Rule 17.1 |
| Use at the store | Not allowed on dispensary premises | ABC Rule 17.1 |
| Taxes | 6.5% state sales tax, plus local sales tax and a 4% privilege tax | Arkansas DFA |
| Drive-through | A 2025 bill to allow drive-through pickup was vetoed | HB 1889 of 2025 |
The 2.5-ounce limit counts every purchase in the 14-day window, even if you split it between stores. This page is general information, not medical or legal advice.
Using Medical Marijuana Legally in Arkansas
- No home grow: Patients may not grow cannabis at home. All of it comes from the state's licensed cultivators, which numbered eight in the fiscal 2025 report.
- Private property: Patients may use cannabis on private property. Public smoking is not protected.
- Driving: Driving while impaired by marijuana is illegal for everyone, registered patients included.
- Without a card: Possessing less than 4 ounces is a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail and a $2,500 fine.
- Hemp THC: Arkansas bans intoxicating hemp products such as delta-8. The Attorney General certified Act 934 of 2025 on April 22, 2026, making the expanded ban fully enforceable.
- Federal land and travel: An Arkansas card offers no protection on federal land such as Hot Springs National Park or the Buffalo National River. Carrying cannabis across a state line is a federal crime. See our federal marijuana law guide.
Before You Visit an Arkansas Dispensary
- Bring your card and ID: The store must check both before it can sell.
- Call first: With one store in most towns, a closed door can mean a long drive. Call to confirm hours and stock.
- Check these addresses: Three stores, 420 Dispensary in Russellville, Speakeasy Dispensary Helena and Dark Horse Cannabis Dispensary in Pine Bluff, still carry the address from the commission's 2020 location list, and we could not match them to current map data. Call before you go.
- Track your limit: Keep an eye on what you have bought in the last 14 days.

How we build this directory: License numbers, store names and zones come from the May 15, 2025 renewal agenda of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission, which lists 37 licensed dispensaries. The commission's newest public location list dates from 2020, so we matched each store to current map data in November 2026 and used the current address where a store has moved. Three addresses still come from the 2020 list and are not yet confirmed. We left out one Texarkana store that has closed, which matches the 36 stores the Department of Health counts as operating. We recheck the list and fix addresses as stores move, open and close. For the rules in every state, see our state-by-state cannabis law guides.
