About Ruckus Fremont

Ruckus Recreational's Fremont store is on North 36th Street in the center of Fremont, a few blocks from the Fremont Troll and the Fremont Sunday Market, with Gas Works Park and Woodland Park Zoo each about a mile away. It is one of two Ruckus shops in Seattle — the other is on Capitol Hill — and visitors are often surprised by how large and open the space is.

Ruckus is built around a no-gimmicks pricing philosophy: rather than inflating shelf prices and advertising big "sales," it sets everyday low prices, adds rotating monthly specials, and runs a simple rewards program — $5 off when you sign up in store, then 5% back on every purchase. Online ordering for pickup requires no account.

That approach replaced the store's popular early-bird and late-night discounts in 2026, along with earlier closing times on Sunday through Wednesday. Ruckus Fremont is recreational only and open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and until 11:45 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking lot.

What Customers Say About Ruckus Fremont

4.1 out of 5 from 90 Google reviews · read the reviews on Google

Ruckus Fremont averages 4.1 stars from about 90 Google reviews, and opinion is split by how long people have been shopping there. Newer customers praise the friendly budtenders, the spacious store and prices they compare favorably with Portland.

Long-time regulars are less happy: several 2026 reviews say removing the happy hours effectively raised prices on their usual products. Others note a short return window for defective cartridges — reportedly just three days — so test vape products promptly.
