About Portal 503

Portal 503 is on SE Powell Boulevard near the east end of the Ross Island Bridge, about half a mile from Tilikum Crossing and OMSI. It is licensed with the OLCC as TJ's By the Bridge — its former name — and now trades as Portal Cannabis.

What sets it apart is the attached grow: Portal runs an organic, no-till living-soil grow and clone nursery on site, so flower is freshly harvested, new strains arrive from the grow about every three weeks, and healthy clones are available all year. It advertises a $35 house ounce 'that will ruin the rest for you', and promotions such as 50% off Bobsled with any Portal flower; spend over $100 and you can spin a prize wheel. Portal hosts home-grow and cannabis-cooking classes, special events and a rotating employee art gallery, and staff — including a grower nicknamed 'the brain' — are known for sharing growing knowledge.

Portal 503 holds OLCC medical-retailer and home-delivery endorsements, offers online ordering and delivery, is open 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily, and lists a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking lot. It is tagged LGBTQ+ friendly.
