Dispensaries in North Seattle: Green Lake, Greenwood, Aurora, Lake City and the U District

North Seattle has eight licensed dispensaries, most of them on two car-friendly corridors: Aurora Avenue N (Dockside Green Lake, Ocean Greens, Greenworks and Seattle Tonics) and Lake City Way NE (Lux and Uncle Ike’s). This is Seattle’s best area for low prices and easy parking, with several shops known for budget ounces and twice-daily happy hours.

North of the Ship Canal, Seattle becomes more residential: Green Lake and its 2.8-mile loop, Greenwood’s main street, the University of Washington and the U District, Northgate’s light rail hub, and Lake City along Lake City Way. Aurora Avenue N (SR 99) cuts straight through the area, and many of North Seattle’s dispensaries sit on it — which means parking lots, quick stops and some of the most competitive prices in the city.
