Where Animal Tsunami Comes From
Leafly, AllBud and SeedFinder all list Animal Tsunami as a cross of Animal Cookies and Caramel Tsunami. SeedFinder files it under Tsunami Seed Co, and some dispensary menus carrying the strain name the same breeder. Leafly and AllBud do not name a breeder, and a few web pages credit Jungle Boys instead without any pedigree to back it up. We treat Tsunami Seed Co as the most consistent attribution.
Animal Cookies is a GSC descendant known for heavy resin and potency, and Caramel Tsunami brings the sweet, creamy side. The strain has shown up as flower from the brand Goodies by Niche on New Jersey dispensary menus, among others. SeedFinder lists it as feminized seed only.
Animal Tsunami Effects: What It Feels Like
Leafly reviewers most often tag Animal Tsunami as uplifted, euphoric and happy, and Leafly describes the overall effect as calming and sedating. AllBud and SeedFinder describe a quick, calming euphoria that lifts the mood and quiets busy thoughts, followed by a soothing body high strong enough to leave you on the couch.
This is not a daytime strain for most people. Leafly lists 30% THC, AllBud averages 30–32%, and one Leafly reviewer cited a 24% batch. Even if your jar tests lower, newer consumers should take one small hit and wait before going further. It suits a late evening with nothing left on the schedule.
Animal Tsunami Terpenes, Aroma and Flavor
AllBud describes a sweet, nutty cookie aroma with earthy, spicy herbs and woody pine, and a creamy caramel taste with pine on the exhale. Leafly lists diesel, tropical and vanilla as the top flavors and calls the palate sugary-sweet with pine notes. Retail listings mention sweet, floral and gassy notes.
No source we found publishes a terpene breakdown for this strain, so we do not list one.
Side Effects and How to Use Animal Tsunami
Leafly reviewers list dry eyes and headache as the most common negatives. The bigger issue is strength: at these THC levels, too much can bring heavy sedation and a foggy head. Start low.
How strong Animal Tsunami feels depends on the batch, your tolerance and how you consume it. Start low, go slow, and read our guide to dosing cannabis.
Do People Use Animal Tsunami for Medical Reasons?
Leafly readers most often mention reaching for Animal Tsunami during anxiety (53%), nausea (38%) and stress (38%), from a small number of reports. AllBud adds chronic pain, headaches, cramps and depression. These are consumer reports, not clinical evidence.
