The main cannabis events of November and December 2026 are Hall of Flowers Sacramento (November 4-5), CANNAFEST in Prague (November 6-8), Green Wednesday (November 25) and MJBizCon in Las Vegas (December 1-4). Two of the four are trade shows, one is a big public fair in Europe, and Green Wednesday is a shopping day at your local dispensary, not an event with a gate. Dates, prices and age rules below were checked on each official site as of October 16, 2026.
I have been following cannabis for 36 years, long enough to remember when the only “cannabis event” on the holiday calendar was a quiet get-together nobody talked about at work. Now the season has its own convention circuit and its own retail holiday. The catch is that most of the big names are built for the industry, not for the shopper. Here is who each event is really for, what it costs, and what you can and cannot do once you are inside.

You may notice a gap: the Emerald Cup. The California competition has held December events at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in past years, but as of October 16, 2026 we could not confirm 2026 dates on its official site, so it is not on this calendar. We also looked for other U.S. consumer cannabis festivals between November 1 and December 31, 2026, and did not find any with dates posted on an official site. If one is announced, we will add it.
Hall of Flowers Sacramento (November 4-5): Who Can Get In?
Hall of Flowers is a cannabis trade show known for treating booths like design projects. The Sacramento stop is new: the official ticket page says “for the first time ever, Hall of Flowers comes to Cal Expo,” the state fairgrounds venue in Sacramento.
Before you plan a road trip, read the fine print. The Sacramento ticket page lists an Industry Ticket covering November 4 and 5 at an early-bird price of $450, and a Day 2 Only ticket for November 5 at $200 early bird or $295 standard. Under the industry ticket, the page says “Industry professionals only” and bans on-site solicitation and service pitching. Retailers can apply for a complimentary pass. The Hall of Flowers homepage says exhibiting brands also get tickets to hand out to their fans, so the friendliest route in for a regular fan may be through a brand you already buy.
The homepage makes a point of opening Day 2 to the public at its New York show in October, but it does not say the same for Sacramento. As of October 16, 2026, the Sacramento page does not post an age rule, hours or consumption rules. The site’s FAQ says you must show ID that matches the name on your Eventbrite ticket to claim your wristband. Expect a 21-and-over crowd, but confirm with the organizer before you buy.
One more practical point: California’s adult-use market is for people 21 and over, and buying from a licensed store is the legal route. Our California marijuana laws guide covers possession limits and where you can legally consume. A convention badge does not change state law.
CANNAFEST Prague (November 6-8): Europe’s Big Hemp Fair
CANNAFEST is the one event on this list built for the public. It is a three-day hemp and cannabis fair at PVA Expo Praha, Beranových 667, in the Letňany district of Prague, with exhibitors selling everything from hemp food and cosmetics to grow gear and seeds.
The official ticket page lists these hours:
- Friday, November 6: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, November 7: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday, November 8: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Presale tickets run 250 Czech koruna for one day or 400 for all three days through November 5, sold through GoOut and Ticketstream. At the door, prices are 300 and 450 koruna. Seniors 65 and over and visitors with a valid disability card get in free, and ISIC student card holders get 50% off at the door.
Age rules are looser than U.S. shoppers expect. CANNAFEST says people under 18 may enter only with an adult, and children under 15 get in free with an adult. The visiting rules say smoking is banned except in designated areas, visitors may not enter “under the influence of alcohol or other narcotic and psychotropic substances,” and organizers may ask for proof of age.
If you are flying from the U.S., the rule is simple: do not bring cannabis on the plane, in either direction. Carrying cannabis across state lines or national borders is illegal under federal law, even between two legal states. Our federal cannabis laws page explains why.
Green Wednesday (November 25): The Dispensary’s Black Friday
Green Wednesday falls on the day before Thanksgiving, which is Thursday, November 26, 2026, according to the federal holiday schedule. That puts Green Wednesday on November 25. It is a retail promotion day that took off in the legal market, not an official holiday, and no government body declares it. Think of it as the cannabis version of Black Friday, timed for people stocking up before a long weekend with family.
How to shop it well:
- Check menus the night before. Many stores post deals online ahead of time. Our dispensary directory lists licensed stores, starting with Washington and Oregon.
- Know your purchase limits. A big sale does not raise the legal limit. In Washington, adults 21 and over may possess up to 1 ounce of usable flower, and stores may not sell you more than that. Oregon’s limits are in our Oregon guide.
- Bring ID and patience. Expect lines in the late afternoon. Ordering ahead for pickup, where your store offers it, saves time.
- Do the math with tax. A percentage off the shelf price is not the same as the out-the-door price.
- Plan the ride home. Holiday roads are crowded. Do not drive high, and keep purchases sealed and out of reach of the driver.

MJBizCon (December 1-4): The Industry’s Biggest Week in Las Vegas
MJBizCon fills the Las Vegas Convention Center December 1-4, 2026, and it is strictly business. The registration page describes MJBizDaily and MJBizCon as “primarily business-to-business outlets for the Cannabis industry.”
Pass prices as posted:
- Expo Only: $299, rising to $399 after November 1
- Conference + Expo: $499, rising to $549 after November 1
- Full Access: $599, rising to $699 after November 1
If you are going, that November 1 deadline is two days after this story publishes. Conference sessions are limited to Full Access and Conference + Expo passes. The Exchange is for qualified hosted buyers only, and the Investment and Liquidity Summit requires you to qualify.
Two rules surprise first-timers. First, the age floor is 18, not 21: the page says “no one under the age of 18 is permitted to attend the Show.” Second, there is no weed on the floor. Use, possession or distribution of THC products “are strictly prohibited at the Show due to local and venue regulations.” Nevada allows adult-use purchases at licensed stores for people 21 and over, but public consumption is a different matter; see our Nevada marijuana laws guide before you light up anywhere on the Strip.
What This Means for You
If you are a consumer looking for a party, the honest answer is that the U.S. calendar for late 2026 is thin on confirmed public festivals. Your best bets are:
- Green Wednesday at a licensed store near you, the one “event” everyone 21 and over can attend.
- CANNAFEST, if you are already traveling in Europe and want to see a large public hemp fair.
- A brand-hosted ticket to Hall of Flowers, if a company you follow is giving them away.
If you work in the industry, Hall of Flowers Sacramento and MJBizCon are the two shows to budget for, and MJBizCon’s price jump after November 1 is the date to watch.
Wherever you go, the basics hold: buy only from licensed stores, carry ID, keep cannabis in the state where you bought it, consume only where the law and the venue allow, and never drive impaired. Cannabis Events November and December 2026 FAQ

Can the public attend Hall of Flowers Sacramento?
The Sacramento ticket page sells an industry ticket marked “industry professionals only” and a Day 2 only ticket for November 5. It does not clearly say the public is admitted, and no age rule was posted as of October 16, 2026. Confirm with the organizer before buying.
Is MJBizCon 21 and over?
No. MJBizCon’s rule is that no one under 18 may attend. It is a business-to-business show, and using or possessing THC products at the show is prohibited.
Can I smoke at CANNAFEST in Prague?
Smoking is banned on the grounds except in designated areas, and the visiting rules say you may not enter under the influence of narcotic or psychotropic substances. Check Czech law before you travel, and never fly with cannabis.
Is the Emerald Cup happening in December 2026?
We could not confirm 2026 dates on the Emerald Cup’s official site as of October 16, 2026. Check the organizer’s site and social channels for announcements.
Can I bring cannabis home from an event in another state?
No. Taking cannabis across state lines is illegal under federal law, even between two states where it is legal. Buy locally and use it where you bought it.
Event details can change. Confirm dates, prices and entry rules with each organizer before you buy. General information, not legal advice.
