Adults 21 and over in Bremerton can buy and possess up to 1 ounce of cannabis flower, 7 grams of concentrate, 16 ounces of solid edibles and 72 ounces of infused liquids. These are Washington’s personal possession limits, and stores may not help you obtain more than that amount. Registered medical patients can buy up to three times as much at medically endorsed stores.

Washington's Adult-Use Limits
Under RCW 69.50.360 and RCW 69.50.4013, an adult 21 or older can legally buy and possess:
- 1 ounce (28 grams) of usable cannabis flower
- 7 grams of cannabis concentrate, including vape cartridges, wax, shatter and rosin
- 16 ounces of solid cannabis-infused products (edibles)
- 72 ounces of liquid cannabis-infused products, or, for low-dose drinks packaged at 4 mg THC or less per unit, up to 200 mg of THC
How Combined Purchases Work
Stores may not help anyone obtain more than the personal possession amount (WAC 314-55-095), so buying a full ounce, leaving and coming straight back for another is not allowed. Because the limits are possession limits, buying the maximum at The Reef and then at The Novel Tree half a mile away can put you over the legal amount. There is no larger at-home allowance for recreational users.
Medical Patient Limits
Registered patients with a DOH recognition card can buy up to 3 ounces of usable cannabis, 48 ounces of solid infused product, 216 ounces of liquid infused product or 21 grams of concentrate at medically endorsed stores (RCW 69.51A.210). See medical marijuana in Bremerton.
What You Can't Do With Your Purchase
You can’t use it in public, including on the ferry (a civil infraction), keep an opened package in a car’s passenger area (a traffic infraction), carry it onto Puget Sound Naval Shipyard or other federal property, or take it across a state line, into Canada or onto a flight. Recreational home growing is also not legal in Washington. See the ferry and Navy rules.
