Where Skywalker Comes From
Skywalker comes from Dutch Passion, which crossed a Mazar female with a Blueberry male. The goal, in the breeder’s words, was a top indica that married Blueberry’s flavor to Mazar’s vigor and yield. Both parents had cup history: Blueberry placed at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2000 and 2001, and Mazar took second places in 1999 and at the 2002 High Life Cup. Leafly lists the same two parents.
Dutch Passion has since discontinued the seed and points buyers to its Skywalker Haze line instead. The original lives on mostly through its offspring. The best known is Skywalker OG, a Skywalker and OG Kush cross that became a West Coast dispensary staple. Leafly also lists White Walker Kush and Dream Candy as descendants.
